Wow, what a week! Our annual partnership event with Save the Children once again proved to be a great success raising a net total of £1830 which will be split evenly between church funds and the charity. A very big vote of thanks to everyone who donated goods, provided transport, helped in the shop and especially to the expert bag packers on the final Friday when the Cash4Clothes van arrived early to collect the left over clothing and books. We did it, all the extras made it safely into the van. The £120 we received from Cash4Clothes was exactly the amount needed to pay the rent so every penny we took at the till was profit. The hall loft is now empty and ready to receive goods for next year.
