Service of Holy Communion with a Confirmation
Celebrant and Preacher: The Rt Rev Dr Nicholas Bundock, Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway
We are looking forward to welcoming Bishop Nick for his first visit to St Oswald’s on Sunday 10 August. This service is a celebration of our Patron Saint, Oswald, the St Oswald’s Church community in Maybole and Carrick, and will include a Holy Communion and the confirmation of a member of our congregation. There will be a bring and share lunch in the hall following the service. All are invited and welcome to the service and lunch.

Lord God almighty,
who so kindled the faith of King Oswald with your Spirit
that he set up the sign of the cross in his kingdom
and turned his people to the light of Christ:
grant that we, being fired by the same Spirit,
may always bear our cross before the world
and be found faithful servants of the gospel;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
