Eucharist for Palm Sunday, 10 April at 11am
We mark the beginning of Holy Week and Christ’s entry into Jerusalem with palms and procession. Service followed by refreshments.
Holy Week Labyrinth, Monday to Wednesday, 9am—4pm
A labyrinth will be laid out in church for members of the congregation and visitors to walk while they pray and consider the events of Holy Week.
Service of Tenebrae with Eucharist, Maundy Thursday, 7.30pm
Tenebrae, or the Liturgy of the Shadows, is an atmospheric service where candles are gradually extinguished as we recall the story of Jesus’ betrayal and abandonment. Holy Communion will be celebrated. The church will remain open following the service as the Watch takes place for those that wish to stay and wait with Jesus.
Stations of the Cross, Good Friday, 11am
The Passion of Christ recalled through readings and images.
Easter Vigil, Holy Saturday, 9pm
The first service of our Easter celebrations. The service begins in the garden after sunset with the lighting of the Easter fire. Holy Communion is celebrated.
Easter Sunday Eucharist, 11am
Service of Holy Communion for Easter Sunday. Followed by refreshments.
